Footed pocket watch holder. Hinged box with beveled glass and ornate frame hinged at top of box, near the "carriage clock" handle). Inside of box is heavily tufted. Dimensions are 3 1/4" wide, 3" deep, 4 3/4" tall (with carrying handle extended). Holder is tapered at the top. circa. 1900

This Ansonia Sunwatch was manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company, 99 John Street, New York. It is a combination sundial and compass. The 2 x 3 booklet is in very good condition, and the inside cover indicates "copyright 1921 by George Hollinwood". The brass case with push button catch at the base is in excellent condition (no damage or dents). This collectible does not have a box.
