LTFL recently obtained this magnificent American made Ridgeway Grandfather Clock commemorating the 250th anniversary of the birth of George Washington, from a gentleman downsizing his residence. LTFL strives to offer unique timekeeping instruments, and this outstanding grandfather clock is no exception. This majestic instrument proudly stands at 87" (7' 3") tall, and would be a welcome addition to any entry hall or other important room. Power is provided to the clock via 3 highly polished brass weights, which are prominently displayed through a bevelled glass front panel. 9 brass chimes are also displayed behind the ornately engraved commemorative large pendulum. The exquisite dial is crafted in brass, stainless steel, and other metals. Other than a barely visible crack in the uppermost corner of a side glass panel (see photo below), this masterpiece is in extraordinary condition, and represents not only a fine investment, but also an heirloom that can be cherished for generations.
